Containing Citric Acid as the main acidifying agent Citrasate® is the first major change in dialysate formulation in over 30 years, breaking away from traditional formulations that contain acetic acid.
It is manufactured for us under licence by MTN in Germany and CE certified as a Medical Device for all haemodialysis/haemofiltration patients both chronic and acute and is already well established on the UK market and is in use extensively at several major dialysis units including Freeman Hospital Newcastle,St.James Hospital Leeds (and satellites),Royal Sunderland Hospital, New Cross Hospital Wolverhampton,Southmead Hospital Bristol (and satellites),The Royal Free London and Dorset County Hospital
